- * 1/3 cup honey

Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
In a small bowl, stir together honey, hot sauce, and lime juice.
Pour the hot honey sauce over the cooked chicken.
Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until the chicken is glossy and coated.
Divide the cooked rice between four bowls.
Top each bowl with hot honey chicken, corn, cucumber, coleslaw mix, avocado, and green onions.

* Use chicken thighs for a juicier bowl or chicken breasts for a leaner option.
* Adjust the hot sauce to make the bowl milder or spicier.
* Add the honey sauce at the end to prevent burning.
* Swap rice for quinoa, cauliflower rice, lettuce, or roasted sweet potatoes.
* Store chicken, rice, and fresh toppings separately in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
* Cooked hot honey chicken can be frozen for up to 2 months.
* Add ranch, spicy mayo, or Greek yogurt sauce for a creamy topping.
